Age of Civilizations is a global tu-based strategy, your main goal in which, oddly enough, will be gaining total dominance over the world. The main emphasis in the game is made on strategic and tactical planning, gradually capturing the region beyond the region, but the ways to achieve the task. Game mechanics closely intertwines in itself economic, social, geopolitical, diplomatic, power aspects, to gain the upper hand ignoring at least one of these areas is simply impossible.
