The TP-Link Tether app provides an easy way to manage TP-Link routers, xDSL modems, and range extenders from your mobile device. You can quickly set up your network, change the Wi-Fi name and password, and configure internet connection parameters.

With an intuitive interface, you gain access to parental controls that allow time-based restrictions and blocking of unwanted websites. The app also lets you manage permissions for connected devices and block unauthorized users.

For range extenders, there is a feature to find the optimal location, as well as automatic LED scheduling. Tether supports simultaneous management of multiple TP-Link devices, making it a convenient tool for home network administration.

How to update TP-Link Tether

Download the new version of the app
Install it over the old one (do not uninstall the previous version)
Important: The update will only work if the previous version was downloaded from our website. If the app was installed from another source, the new version will cause a signature conflict, and you will see the error "App not installed".
