Tessera

Tessera is a 2D puzzle game that is both challenging and engaging. The goal of the game is to disassemble an initial mosaic, which consists of a field divided into tiles, each potentially containing a mosaic element. Players move tiles like checkers, jumping over one tile in any direction—up, right, down, left, or diagonally—provided there is a mosaic element between the starting and ending positions for the tile to combine with. For example, moving a circle tile onto a cross tile creates an entirely new shape, while moving it over another circle tile returns it to a simple cross.

The game features nine types of mosaic elements and three difficulty modes. It also offers two interface styles, the ability to undo the last move, and a detailed instruction guide in Russian. This puzzle is quite difficult to master but will fully immerse you if you take the time to understand its mechanics.
