Chess Clock

This app replaces traditional chess clocks, offering a simple and convenient timer for any board game. It is completely free: no in-app purchases and no ads. Choose your preferred time control, and the game begins — the second player presses a button to start the first player's clock.

The app supports various formats: base minutes per player, delays, and bonus time. Fischer and Bronstein increments are available, as well as simple delays. You can set up multi-stage time controls common in tournaments, such as "40 moves in 2 hours + game in 60 minutes." The current stage is displayed on the screen.

Large, easy-to-read buttons work in landscape and portrait orientation on all devices. Quick customization allows one-tap access to your favorite time controls. The clock automatically pauses if the app is interrupted, and you can manually pause it at any time. Pleasant sounds accompany button presses and the "time's up" alert.
