Strategy - Every decision matters in The Walking Dead: Survivors and there is no time to hesitate. Will you focus on growing your defenses and creating alliances, or will you grow your army, venture out and conquer the region by force?
Tower Defense - Your settlement is under constant threat of incoming walkers, and it is up to you to fend them off. Strategize your way to victory by strengthening your defenses, placing obstacles, constructing buildings, recruiting new Survivors and using their special skills to keep the walkers at bay.
Social Game - Walkers are the least of your worries. In the world of The Walking Dead: Survivors, you will encounter other players from all around the world. It is up to you to choose your allies and your foes. Be careful in whom you place your trust! Create Clans and build various clan buildings across the region to expand your territory and prepare for war against Negan!
Exploration - The Walking Dead: Survivors offers a vast region map with tons of important locations, characters, items and resources to discover. Getting familiar with your surroundings will play a huge part in your survival. Discover key buildings on the map and compete with other clans for their control.

- Paywalling "claim all" buttons is nasty, - If you have carpal, avoid this, UI is one of the worst, gotta tap 3 times for most rewards, even to dispel a popup, - Events are beyond numerous and messy, - Chat design is horrid, - You can tell there are simple UI fixes that could have been implemented ever since 2019, - There are three maps at all times. You have to do stuff in all three, - While most simplify combat, there's two types of defense, attack and HP-improving items, - Type is small.

Try downloading twice. Says it's 100% yet on my home screen. Says game still downloading. Will not open. After several more attempts it finally downloaded. Not sure if it's a connection problem or an app problem I will update review after I play for a bit and see if I come across any more problems, but for now I'll give it two stars seeing as how had a problem even being to start playing it

Please do the following steps to try to resolve this: 1) Download and install the latest version of the game from the App Store, then log in to check. 2) Clear your device's cache and exit the program from the background. 3) Re-check your connection by switching to 4G/5G or wifi.

It's great in many ways, super intricate, team-oriented, and devs have improved responsiveness. Plan spending a lot of time (and $) if you aim to grow, but it's fun if you bond well with others. Its drawbacks include the uneven seasonal matching. Even when matched well, 2-3 regions can gang up against one, messing up entire seasons. It favors big spenders - one whale can dominate entire seasons. Worst of all is devs increase difficulty, so growing/spending gets devalued over time.
