This game isn't hard as it is completely unfair and relies mostly on luck for a good run. So I have spent hours grinding to get the right abilities for my Dragoon. After several, several runs, I got THE run. I was unstoppable and everything died as soon as it attacked me due to my reflect build. I lost that run because one enemy had an ability that returned all reflect damage. So I immediately lost the god run because a single ability can counter your entire build. That's just bad game design.

This feels like an old school kind of game, it's a different type of dungeon crawler, and I'd recommend it. After your first play, it can be played offline. You can have multiple characters/saves. You can save mid-dungeon. It's turn based, with different attacks, armor, stats, monsters, events, etc. It's gameplay is simple, pick branching tiles, or if in a fight, pick your attack (you get a few slots that can be changed) and level up. It's hard and strategic, but definitely enjoyable.

Really interesting game so far it's a lot deeper than it seems. The UI is hard to get used to and very dated looking and you have to read a lot of manuals that haven't been translated into english yet. I've been using google translate reading over documentation trying to figure out some of the more obscure elements but I'm figuring more stuff out the more I play.
