Mix Chemicals is a sandbox application for studying chemical reactions. It is arguably the best app in its category, allowing you to explore chemical reactions even without prior knowledge. In a virtual laboratory, you can mix various liquids, gases, and metals, then observe their reactions. For example, combining H2 and O2 can cause an explosion if you light a match.

The app features around three hundred possible reactions involving hundreds of elements, from simple water to complex metal mixtures. Controls are straightforward, similar to Sugar Sugar, where you tap an element to add it or hold for a larger amount. A swipe at the bottom of the screen adds a filament, while a swipe at the top covers the imaginary jar with a lid to contain gases. Drawing a line in the center of the screen lights a match.
