Threema is a simple and intuitive messenger. Its main distinction from WhatsApp for Android and Telegram is its enhanced security. Every text and voice message, along with every media file, undergoes end-to-end encryption before being sent to the recipient.

Encryption keys are generated randomly and stored in special protected folders on your device, completely preventing any possibility of copying or deletion. Alongside these positive qualities, the program offers all the necessary features modern users need, including sending music, GIF animations, images, and documents, creating chats and groups, customizing the appearance, and synchronizing contacts, among many others.

How to update Threema

Download the new version of the app
Install it over the old one (do not uninstall the previous version)
Important: The update will only work if the previous version was downloaded from our website. If the app was installed from another source, the new version will cause a signature conflict, and you will see the error "App not installed".
