Kodama

Kodama is a touch-based arcade game that blends the genres of clicker, Tamagotchi, and Talking Tom. The Kodama are mysterious spirits of sound that dwell in forests. Finding them is not difficult, but taming them is a much greater challenge.

Each spirit has its own unique personality and voice, though they do not speak themselves. Instead, they repeat whatever they hear, slightly distorting the words. One Kodama might slow down a phrase and make it rougher, while another might reverse it entirely. Every spirit is unique, and your task is to catch them. For this, you have a bonsai, a small garden tree that you nurture. Rotate the camera by sliding your finger across the screen and catch the spirits by quickly tapping on them. Collect notes, the in-game currency, which you can use to purchase various upgrades for the spirits and the bonsai.
