FPse for Android is the fastest and most compatible PSone emulator, also known as PSX or PlayStation 1, for portable devices. It boasts over 200,000 active users and a 4.5-star rating on Google Play. FPse can render PSone games in high resolution using OpenGL, achieving outstanding graphics quality.

Users should read the official documentation to learn about the requirements and how it works at http://www.fpsece.net/faq.html. By creating disc images of favorite games, they can enjoy them on their Android smartphones. FPse features high performance, high compatibility, high-quality sound, real-time quick saves, audio track emulation using .cue files, force feedback, dynamically loaded gamepad skins, light gun emulation, analog stick emulation, and control via G-sensor, touchscreen, and hardware keys.

The emulator supports image formats such as .img, .iso, .bin, .cue, .nrg, .mdf, .pbp, .bz, and .Z, along with full support for IcontrolPAD, BGP100, and Zeemote through Bluez IME. OpenGL support is available via an external plugin. The setup process involves installing the apk, removing the license check with Lucky Patcher using a custom patch, and then launching the application.

How to update FPse for Android devices

  1. Download the new version of the app
  2. Install it over the old one (do not uninstall the previous version)
  3. Important: The update will only work if the previous version was downloaded from our website. If the app was installed from another source, the new version will cause a signature conflict, and you will see the error "App not installed".
  4. You can read more about signatures in the documentation.

Attention

Due to the modified signature and modifications, the native security may detect the app as malicious.
