FM Synthesizer

SynprezFM 2 is a powerful programmable polyphonic synthesizer that uses frequency modulation to create complex harmonic waveforms. It combines a multitouch dynamic keyboard, arpeggio, effects, and a library of 1024 built-in patches. The app can emulate classic and modern instruments, as well as generate unique crystalline sounds.

The synthesizer also acts as a Yamaha DX7 emulator, accurately rendering sysex files uploaded to an external storage directory. You can create and save your own patches by editing existing ones or starting from scratch with the 'init voice' function. It supports WAV recording, MIDI keyboard connection via USB/OTG or Bluetooth LE, and a small step sequencer.

To simplify usage, complex functions like the patch editor and micro-tuning are only available in 'expert mode,' which can be activated in settings. While playing, you can trigger an after-touch vibrato effect by dragging your fingers on the active keys or shift the keyboard to different octaves. Performance parameters above the keyboard include two types of portamento, sensitivity for pitch or volume modulation, and depth effects for headphones.

Thanks to an optimized core, SynprezFM 2 supports up to 16 channels playing simultaneously, even on mid-range devices. Countless bugs have been fixed, a pseudo compressor enables louder sound, MIDI controller support has been improved, and storage access has been rewritten for Android 11+ compatibility.
