Enigmatis 2 is the sequel to a hidden object puzzle adventure game. The story takes place two years after the events of the prequel, with the heroine pursuing a demonic preacher for several months, though the target always manages to slip away. A new lead finally brings the detective to the forests of Northern California, but disappointment awaits there as well. The player must determine what to do next, which direction to take the investigation, and where to find the lost trail. The answers to these questions, along with many others, are what the player needs to uncover.
