Dragon Island is a 2D pixel platformer that serves as a decent Mario clone with new characters and levels. Players run and jump, collect coins, and dodge an abundance of enemies. The main character is a cute little dragon exploring a magical world, controlled using on-screen arrow buttons and a jump button.

The game invites players to explore a vast island by moving through locations and levels filled with spikes, monsters, and traps. Along the way, they collect bonuses and points. The old-school style is perfectly preserved, delivering a nostalgic experience.
